Safety: a Fundamental Value
Safety is a fundamental value and an essential part of how we conduct business – every day, every project, every job site, everyone involved.
People are our most valuable asset, and the safety and welfare of all National Electric Coil employees is our first concern.
As we see it, legal and industrial safety standards, codes, protective equipment and devices, and normal good safety practices define the minimum requirements. National Electric Coil takes every possible step to insure the maximum safety of each employee, even if in many cases, it means exceeding minimum requirements to keep our people safe.
We accomplish this through a well-planned, company-wide safety program, one in which every officer, manager, and employee has personal responsibility and commitment, for reporting and correcting hazardous conditions and unsafe work procedures which can cause personal injury or damage to property and equipment. Our Health and Safety Program is interwoven into every phase of our business and is enforced uniformly, consistently and swiftly.
We see every accident as unnecessary and representing a loss to the employee and to the company, not only in lost wages, but also in human suffering and lost productivity.
While the ultimate success of a Health and Safety program depends upon the full cooperation of each employee, it is management's responsibility to provide a safe environment in which to work. Health and safety are also considered an integral part of quality control, cost reduction and job efficiency.
Every Project Manager, Supervisor and or Foreman is held accountable for the safety performance demonstrated by employees under his or her supervision. Our objective is to eliminate all accidents and injuries. While not an easy task, we have the positive attitude, hard work and the cooperation of all employees, supervisors, managers and officers to help us meet this goal!
